Blatant spam from ProspectDB

[NOTE: Posted 1/29/2014]

The spam samples below show links to GotoMeeting, a web conferencing service, and refer to accounts on Pinpointe Systems that the spammer provides to those who attend the seminar as an introduction to his product. Both GotoMeeting and Pinpointe are legitimate services, widely used by legitimate businesses as well as (unfortunately) spammers.

Pinpointe contacted Spamhaus to tell us that they were concerned that the reference to their business might mislead customers or prospects to think that they were in business with Cassidy. They tracked down the original connection, and found that Pinpointe briefly had a business relationship with Forrest Cassidy in 2010. Pinpointe ended the business relationship shortly after it started after they determined the nature of Cassidy's business.

We appreciate Pinpointe's courtesy in letting us know what happened. We agreed to post a note to reassure anybody who finds this ROKSO record that Pinpointe is in no way connected to Forest Cassidy or ProspectDB. (Nor is GotoMeeting, of course.)
