Estrela responds to an ex-customer

From: (Estrela Marketing ex-customer)
Subject: Fwd: FW: Communication With Estrela

Thanks for hearing me out, I really appreciate it. I
have attached a series of email that began with my
original note to you last night when I asked what was
going on. Then, one of my people, Kxxxx Fxxxx, (who
has been our communication point with Estrela) sent an
email back to Estrela asking for details...read this
from the bottom, up to get the full perspective. You
will see Estrela's comments from their people, Ken
Pollack and Adam Taub---and you will also see that
they basically try to downplay the efforts of
spamhaus.org rather than deal honestly with us---they
never address our detailed questions, just try to
brush our problem aside.

I am going to send another email with some links that
prove that Estrela is behind the offending email
address: <Sean@Emsemail.biz>

The email for Ken Pollack at Estrela is
kpollack@estrelams.com That is the email we used to
communicate in regard to using their "service".

Look for my second email...and please confirm when you
can when our block is lifted. I am eager to answer any
other questions that you have.

Thanks,

Jxxx

PS-You will notice in Kxxxx's (xxxxxxxxx employee)
last email to Estrela, that we were making every
effort to get information from Estrela after this
problem occured, and they have failed to provide
answers to the last email that Kxxxx sent to them...

Note: forwarded message attached.

Ken,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I need some additional help.

We understand that you believe that Spamhaus is a self appointed Internet watchdog and not related to any government agency, but the fact is they have blocked us and we need supporting evidence so that we can approach them with the facts.

We would appreciate it if you could provide us with the following:

1) Specific verification of the lists mailed to. Were they:

Single Opt-in?
Double Opt-in?
Opt-out? or
UCE?

2) Proof that you are operating/mailing within the terms of your privacy policy

3) Copy of your pivacy policy

4) Substantiation of an up to date suppression list

5) Time stamp, date, IP address, of each subscriber

I know this may be somewhat tedious but we have a fire to put out. We need to be able to persuade Spamhaus with the facts and avoid any semblance of belligerence in order to get the needed results.

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

All the best,

Kxxxx Fxxxx

There is no answer. Spamhaus, is a pain in the ass in the email advertising industry. Anyone who mails gets crap from them. They have nothing to do with any ISPs or Government agency so basically them being listed on their site means nothing.
