"Swank" aka "dollar" aka "Chris Brown" got into a little tiff with another spammer "Batch1" on the spamforum.biz spammer forum, over a deal gone bad. They ended up trading real identities that they used to pay each other. Swank throws the first punch, revealing the identity of 'batch1': ------------------------------------------------------ Posted by Swank: Let me tell you about the scammer named Adam Vitelli. Name: Adam Vitelli Alias: Batch1 Contacts: AIM = N1hustler4life, IRC = BATCH1 Whereabouts: Brooklyn, NY Age: approximately 18-19 Frequents the IRC channels #bulkers and #****** I have known this scammer since approximately May 2003 and was introduced to him through an ex partner of mine who knows him personally IRL. My ex partner moved back from Israel to Brooklyn NY and met Adam. They hung out a bit and were friends for a little while. My partner split from the UNIV company and I took on running the Affiliate program on my own. Adam contacted me in attempts to help manage my affiliates but i told him that I didnt need the help at this time. As well i hadnt known him for long and pretty much the only mutual contact of ours was my previous partner so I didnt know him long enough for this type of trust. He was pretty much upset about me politely telling him no and after this he wanted to somehow integrate his little irc channel into my board spamsoft as some sort of partnership or w/e. He begged me to host a site for him dealing with his channel. I told him that I could set him up with good hosting deals but he was only interested in "freebies". He was hosting the site on his DSL line at the time while spamming from that same line, lol. Claimed he was getting "70k clicks a sec". He started trying to tell me that my partner was screwing me over which lead into a bunch of unneeded bs.. His lies had me convinced that my partner really was screwing me which soured our relationship even more and had me a little paranoid. I didnt want to really speak with Batch after all of this and only pretty much spoke with him on IRC. He would contact me and beg for proxies, mailers, relays, and all kinds of stuff. I explained to him that it takes money to make money and that im not salvation army. Again he went off in a childish rampage talking massive shit both via pm and in channel just because he couldnt get want he wanted, (reminds me of a 8 year old in the action figure isle of walmart throwing a temper tantrum because their mom wouldnt get them the newest power ranger figurine). Hes one hearty keyboard warrior ill say that for certain. His comeback for pretty much all statements is "hick", "redneck" and "ill beat you up! come meet me!". He doesnt seem to understand that where I live is a CITY not "hickville". He has came to the conclusion that if you live in a midwest US state your a "redneck" :joker:. Obviously he didnt pay attention during history class. With him being upset that I wouldnt let him "partner" with me on my UNIV program he attempted to contact another of the people I work with for some sort of deal. They told him sure get us leads we will pay you.. Well Adam is a very inexperienced mailer, (asked me for help many times) so he wasnt bringing in any leads himself, (brought in a total of about 3 leads period). He then tried getting others to mail for him, he was able to get one mailer to work for him. At the end of the period one of my partners western unioned Adam approximately around a measily $380. He took around $187 of it and paid the mailer then pocketed the rest and gave the mailer this excuse "i dont have all the money im waiting on it still". The mailer was owed an additional $187. Adam disapeared off irc.. gave bullshit excuses to the mailer.. and then ultimately began ignoring everything. This mailer had contacted me about this since he knew I ran the UNIV program and told me about it. I attempted to contact batch to see what the deal was and he ignored me or would talk more immature shit. I got this mailer setup with my program and he started mailing. I felt bad about the image Adam was giving the UNIV so i contacted my partner and told him the deal and had Adam cut off. Adam began surfacing time to time on IRC and every time I along with others brought up the issue of him scamming and as usual he made up excuses. At this time i started asking others if they had been scammed by him and suprisingly the first person i asked told me he was owed money by Adam. It seems batch needed some sort of protection for his IRC channel so that people would not come in and create havoc so he promised to pay this guy to bring his botnet in and setup a simple eggdrop or similar system for manging op's and voices etc. This botowner told me that Adam owed him about $200 and had not paid. I continued to check up with this person and the mailer and neither had been paid, (pretty sad this kook ripped off people for such little amounts, guess he had never seen that kind of money). Well time went buy and his name came up in a convo and I had mentioned him ripping off other people and that I had all of his info and could get more. After stating this I had yet another person contact me to ask for his info and I was told he owed them money as well,($300). Appears he had been avoiding him as well. Story behind that issue was that this guy had loaded up a mailer on his bots that would spam from numerous pc's. He says he estimates Adam made aproximately $1000-$2000 from his help. With the help of this same guy previously Adam was trying to offer proxy subscriptions for trojan proxies. I had heard people complain about the proxies and about him ripping them off. Around this same time there was a new user that signed up on SH named LNCsoftware. Now this isnt 100% confirmed but with what ive matched up and info ive researched I have reason to believe that Adam was indeed this person who also ripped off numerous people. http://www.specialham.com/specialha.../s_/tm.htm#4498 Around this same time there was an email spreading around that alot of SH members along with other mailers received. http://www.specialham.com/specialha.../s_/tm.htm#2747 The email basically was impersonating my ex partner and mentioning the UNIV program. Within it it stated that the UNIV program was suffering a drout due to honey pot problems and that he had a solution to the problem which was a supposed honeypot detecting software which he also had attached to this email. I had friends contact me about receiving this, had them forward it over and the file attached was a virus after scanning. After disasembling it, it seems it was a very poor made virus obviously the work of a newbie. Appeared to be either some sort of trojan dropper or spybot worm. I contacted my ex partner about this to confirm that he obviously didnt send it and he stated that he didnt. We started ruling out possible culprits and it began clear that Adam was the only one who could have done it. He wasnt friends with me nor my partner, we dissallowed him to supply us with any leads and he was upset my partner had told me about some personal info on him and some pretty funny stuff, (Adam had to have my partner install windows XP for him since he had no idea what to do, cmw ). I began comparing the email body and wording to convos I had with Adam and matched up similar spelling mistakes, grammar usage and common words and terms he liked to use alot. I made this known to him and he never denied it. There was another incident in where a person was working with Adam on a mortage program. It was rumored that batch was screwing this guy over time to time and couldnt come through with his promises. I dont know the truth to this or if the guy ivolved would even admit in fear of hurting his own reputation along with the fact he is Adam's right hand man. I just know that he was working with him and that one day he is wanting affiliates and the next day he is asking for buyers for his leads. Kind of sounded like Adam screwed him. After a little while when I was offering to sell my yahoo mailer and various other programs of ours he as well was trying to offer the exact same. I was told by some people that he was making claims that he had "stole" it and was trying to sell it. I knew this was impossible and I made a statement to him about it stating that if he was I was going to do something about it. I was curious so i decided to do a little investigating and I began speaking to him on IRC under another alias to get to know him and to get him to trust me. I told him that I was interested in his products he was offering and that I wanted more information so I contacted him on AIM. We had a nice little convo about the products and i convinced him into sending me some screenshots. After receiving the screenshots I was relieved to see that it wasnt my software but pissed to see that it actually was a guy i knews program he made. Adam and some aoler kid named ripo had obtained his program and were trying to sell copies without him knowing. I had busted Adam in yet another lie and scam operation. He had been making claims that these programs were made by his "programmers" and that they were high quality programs! The guy who created the program had no idea that these 2 were trying to sell it.
