The Spamhaus Projects' policy with regard to storage of documents is as follows:
1) Spamhaus does not store any paper documents.
2) With the exception of web site files and files stored in Spamhaus' public web site archive at www.spamhaus.org, Spamhaus does not store any electronic documents such as PDFs or Word documents.
3) Almost all Spamhaus communications are via email. Spamhaus receives and sends a high volume of email communications, however as almost all Spamhaus communications deal with current matters we do not need or employ any system for storing or archiving older email communications. All email, including internal and external communications, is deleted after a period of 60 days from date of receipt or sending. The exception to this rule is email communcations sent to or sent by the Spamhaus SBL Removals account, where emails may be stored for historic incident tracking purposes for a period of up to 3 years.
