Spamhaus is the founding member of a new organization that has put forward a proposal to ICANN for a new Top Level Domain (TLD): .mail
If the proposal is accepted, the organization will be eligible to enter technical and commercial negotiations with ICANN. As the .mail TLD can only go to existing domain name registrants (i.e: apple.com alone is entitled to apple.com.mail) there is no need for registrants to worry about not getting the .mail TLD for their domain (therefore there will be no reservations or pre-ordering).
