Due to time constraints and the large volume of email we receive, we do not answer questions that are already answered in our FAQs, or questions that are addressed to the wrong department address. When Contacting Spamhaus... Blocklist removal requests Please DO NOT send blocklist removal requests to any spamhaus.org address except for the address of the removals team. To find which removals team to email, use the removal procedure. Requests for removals of IPs sent to any other spamhaus.org address do NOT reach the removals teams and will not be answered. Filters on Spamhaus Email Addresses When sending email to spamhaus.org, DO NOT include (cc/bcc) other spamhaus addresses. Email addressed to multiple spamhaus.org addresses will be rejected as wrongly addressed. Note that if your IP is currently blocked by any of our lists, you will not be able to contact any spamhaus.org address except the email address of the SBL Removals team. Do Not Forward Spam to us The Spamhaus Project is not a general spam abuse desk. We can not help with individual spam problems. Please DO NOT forward spam to us or cc/bcc us on spam complaints you send to ISPs. (If you do this we will simply ban your address from our mail servers.) Anti-Mailbomb Restrictions As as anti-spam organization in the frontline, Spamhaus is frequently under attack by spammers who try to stop us from stopping them. Consequently our mail servers are protected by a number of 'anti-mailbomb' mechanisms and will temporarily firewall hosts attempting to deliver multiple bounces, attempting to submit multiple substantially-similar messages, etc. Normal email senders should not be inconvenienced by these protection mechanisms however if you do find yourself firewalled, wait 30-60 minutes and try again.
